Episode 1 launches a brand new chess tournament and TV series hosted by TV celebrity Anna Richardson and commentated by Simon Williams, a chess Grandmaster himself. Intro from the Crowne Plaza London Gatwick hotel.

The first day’s games begin and the hosts focus on the selected game of the day with detailed game analysis by Simon and Anna in which we witness how Germany’s International Grandmaster Elisabeth Paehtz beat the much higher ranked player Grandmaster Nigel Short from England.
The Game of the day has been broken down to opening, middle game and end game with Elisabeth very surprising victory over English Grandmaster Nigel Short.
